- A.M. Best Co for the first time has assigned Ansvar Insurance with a financial strength rating of A - (Excellent). The rating reflects our adequate stand-alone risk adjusted capitalisation and conservative investment philosophy along with recognition of our niche focus in the faith, education, care and charity sectors.
- On 21st January 2008 Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services revised the outlook on Ansvar Insurance and our parent company Ecclesiastical Insurance plc. While both remain at their current rating of BBB+ and A- respectively, the outlook has increased from stable to positive. This reflects Standard & Poor’s expectation that continued strong cross-cycle performance may permit an upgrade in the medium term. For more details click here.
