Credit Ratings for Ansvar Insurance Ltd

Ansvar Insurance is a subsidiary of Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc (UK). When our credit rating is reviewed by the agencies, the credit rating of the Parent Company is taken into account. Generally, ratings agencies will assign a subsidiary with a credit rating which is one level below the Parent Company’s rating unless the subsidiary provides a major portion of the income for the Group. Ansvar Insurance Ltd (Australia & New Zealand) contributed approximately 14% of the gross premium income of the Group in 2008.
